I have been involved in the theater pretty much my entire life. Like most children I started off in school choirs and such, but even as early as first or second grade I was getting involved in acting. Or at least acting up.

I have done just about every task there is to do in theater including acting, directing, lights, sound, set design and construction, make-up, costume and fight choreography. I have played roles in dramas, melodramas, musicals and comedies. The most challenging roles I have ever had to play have been Mark Twain in "Entertaining Mark Twain" and various incarnations of the traditional Capitano role from Commedia del' Arte.

In recent years I have turned my skills to the field of performance magic and was eventually made a Laurel in the SCA for that and my theatrical work. I have had the good fortune over the years to meet many world famous magicians including Harry Anderson, Penn and Teller, Jeff McBride and Eugene Burger. I am proud to be able to call Jeff McBride and Eugene Burger both mentors and friends.

The Bernard Pivot Questionnaire

From the show on Bravo's TV network titled "The Actor's Studio", members of the troupe have been asked to answer the following questions if they wish (if no responses, the troupe member has either chosen to not answer the questions, or hasn't gotten around to it ...):

Question Answer
What is your favorite word? Antidisestablishmentarianism. Yes it's a word. It means that you are against the people who are against the system. Not necessarily that you're for the system.....
What is your least favorite word? "No" -- Especially when being used to argue or contradict.
What turns you on? Strawberries.
What turns you off? Stupidity.
What sound do you love? Either the sound of waves crashing on the beach at night or really beautiful music (generally requiring a full orchestra.)
What sound do you hate? Screaming children or uncontrolled dogs.
What is your favorite curse word? 'Moron' or 'Idiot'. While I have certainly been known to make the air around me rather sulfurous with bad language from time to time, I only really get vicious with those two words.
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt? Chef. I love to cook and being able to be head Chef in my own restaurant just seems pretty cool to me.
What profession would you not like to participate in? Anything requiring me to work a graveyard shift. Tried it once and it was just too much to take.
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? "Here, pick a card..."
