Hirsch's Log
I have a feeling that most of us feel maxed out – there are performances this evening, but I don’t expect anyone is going to see them. At this point, I think for us the festival is over. It’s been a great experience, despite the nastiness on Tuesday, and all the aftermath.
John called the airline, and has gotten everyone onto a different flight, so it sounds like all is well. (Whew!)
(Later) Some folk went into town to do some touristy shopping and such. The rest of us just hung around, and then most of us met up at a local BBQ place in down-town. Michael and Jana didn’t join us, but the rest did. Then we came back to the condos. Pretty mellow day. Tomorrow we head out to the airport, so ... we’re doing some early packing/cleaning and such, and we’ll do a flurry of stuff (garbage, wash towels, whatever) before we leave.

Juan's Log
Our flight has been cancelled. We were able to get onto a different flight back the same day but we will be later in the day.
I think today everyone is going to simply take it easy and do the bare minimum. We were going to go on the Ghost Walk tonight, but unfortunately that fell through. By the time I was able to get a hold of anyone, all the reservation slots had been taken. Filled by a school group with a bunch of 15 year old kids. Most of us aren’t all the fond of kids to begin with so we really didn’t want to go put up with this ...
So the plans for today seem to be to stay in, clean up, get packed and prepared. Maybe swim a bit. Maybe play some Chez Geek. Go out for dinner and that's it.
The week is coming to an end. I wanted to spend more time on this journal and get more detail in but I was so tired most of the time that I didn't write as much as I would have liked. I did get 9 rolls of film however, so that is good. I'll get it all developed onto Photo CD and use the pictures to help fill in more details here.
I suspect we all learned about more then just Commedia on this trip. I won’t comment further but leave this properly enigmatic. <G>
12th Night will be an incredible show based on what we have learned here this week, but after 12th Night there will be a lot of rethinking being done by a lot of members. Many of us want to take a break for the upcoming year. Many of us want to sit back and see what happens as we finish this shake down.
